Every project begins with understanding your vision, goals, and the practical details that shape the build. We start by discussing your plans, reviewing the property, and gathering key information such as square footage, spatial needs, timeline, and preliminary budget. If plans are not yet in place, we can connect you with trusted architects and interior designers on Salt Spring Island to help assemble the right team and move the design forward.
During the design phase, we collaborate closely with the project team to ensure design decisions align with the project budget and timeline. As plans develop, we refine costs and coordinate the permitting process with the Capital Regional District (CRD) to ensure approvals move forward smoothly.
Once construction begins, Plewman Construction manages the full build process — coordinating trusted trades and vendors, maintaining quality control, and overseeing scheduling and sequencing with regular site meetings and updates. At completion, we conduct final walkthroughs to ensure every detail meets both our standards and yours.
